I bought a ceramic travel mug from Longaberger, years ago. Really keeps coffee hot, and I like that it has a handle (really, you need a handle!). But I just looked, and they don't sell them any more.
Google "ceramic travel mug" and you'll find quite a few out there -- but you have to dig deep to find ones not made in China.

I have really enjoyed drinking from Noritake porcelain mugs. They are pleasant to hold, and the keep fairly hot, and they don’t stain! I think I’d I’d find the best quality porcelain mug that has a seal. I personally would stay away from earthenware, which is fragile. If you fancy a hand thrown pottery mug, make sure that the glaze is food safe.
China, as in porcelain, was discovered and made by the Chinese centuries ago. If anyone knows how to make good quality china, it would be them—or the Japanese. Even Wedgwood is now made in China.
