Doing a valentines dinner for my two grown sons tonight since they have their sweethearts to share with on Friday. My boys loved these when I was going through my Moroccan phase of cooking.

Moroccan-Spiced Poussins with Saffron, Honey and Tomato Jam. Served with Persian jeweled rice.

With my own tweaks of substituting orange blossom water for the rose water and using skinless chicken thighs in stead of Cornish hens (I don't like the taste of them) of course thighs were marinating over night.

Recipe here:

For desert:

Ricotta and honey ice cream with fig upside down cake. (yes I have a ice cream maker and because we love the stuff, usually the desert I make most often)

If you love ice cream as much as we do I highly suggest "the perfect scoop."

Cabbaghetti tonight. Basically, spaghetti sauce (with ground beef) over sauteed cabbage strips. Parmesan on top, of course. NOM
