I'm going to guess that the people to whom those items are marketed toward falls in the 18-30 age group.

If I'm going to eat crap, it better be good. Whataburger patty melt comes to mind, or Five Guys burger with their fries. But that's like...a twice a year thing!

The T-Rex looks absolutely ridiculous. If I was in the woods hiking for 2 weeks and my sole food was 1 slice of bread every night I still don't think I'd eat that.
Hate taco bell, but might actually go and try that breakfast sandwich. Definitely looks and sounds better than some of the other items on this list.

That's exactly the way one SHOULD enjoy fast food. It wasn't meant to be the main form of sustenance. Of course fast food isn't really the MAIN culprit. The main culprit is lack of exercise/activity. Sedentary lifestyles mixed with too much high calorie foods are hurting us. If people would just exercise they could more of what they wanted/liked. Fast food to me is sort of like road food. When your travelling or you are in a hurry for some reason. You're not supposed to eat it every day but like most things, America went overboard.

Omelet sandwich I would. The others? Too much mixing and matching.

The Carl's Jr. Breakfast Burger looks good. It's probably a good thing we don't have many fast food places in town.

I think some of those items are for advertising/shock value and it worked.

The KFC Double Down really is ridiculous. The idea of using breaded meat as a bun is pretty much the definition of shock value. That and those Swanson Hungry Man pound of food things.

It's a creative marketing gimmick is all it is. They're just taking an ordinary product and presenting it in a different way and making a killing off of it. I mean at the of the day, a breaded chicken breast is a breaded chicken breast. Companies have been doing this to many different products for years.

KFC's Double Down?!? lol! Do they still make this? That looks like the only thing that'll do is clog your arteries

None of those foods look appealing.

At the very end of the day, each and every single one of us is has a choice for what we're putting in to our bodies (exception being kids, who are in general, fed by adults). Let's be real: these foods aren't meant to be healthy. They're meant to taste good and turn a profit. I don't blame these fast food places for making this unhealthy crap b/c we keep eating it up.

And this, boys and girls, is the long and short of it. Don't buy stuff, whether it's food or clothing or anything, that you don't want.

I rarely eat any fast food other than pizza and even that I usually make rather than buy. I will cop to getting cravings for a 1/4 Pounder with Cheese every couple of months and that's about how often I have one.

My oh my, some look downright sickening! I love bacon, but too much can be the death of a person.

It's food like this that makes it so hard for a person (who has to watch what they eat, for sodium content, fat content and carb content and sugar as well) to go out to eat. Food like this, which seem to be huge in content, could very well be contributing to the fact that the numbers of obese persons in the USA has risen greatly.

I know that I have been conversing with both my state and federal representatives about sodium content in foods and the possibility of placing limits on that. Food manufacturers seem to only be interested in putting sodium in to get the great taste so more persons will buy it. And those unsuspecting persons who crave salt do just that. It could be they one day will regret eating high sodium content foods. But for that matter, they may also live to regret the high fat and carb content such as foods shown in on this listed site.

I bet Adam on Man vs Food would like all of these. How does he keep from weighing 400 pounds and not having a heart attack with all the fat and sodium and carbs he eats?
