Well it depends; we are about to leave to get our doggies groomed, while we run errands, If we get home at a reasonable hour we will have chicken thighs, fruit salad with a brandy/cream sause and a couple of veggies. If we don't it's bring out the pizza and doctor it up a bit.
potato salad- red potatoes, celery, onion, pickle relish, mayo and mustard,crumbled bacon
fresh green beans cooked with water and bacon drippings
spinach salad with warm bacon dressing with mandarin oranges and strawberries
Corn Bread made with sour cream and cornmeal
A huge salad: spinach, mixed salad greens, cucumber, tomatoes, peas, carrots, tomatoes, olives, 3-bean salad, red/yellow bell pepper, broccoli, cauliflower, swiss cheese, smoked Gouda, red onion, salami, chicken and faux crabmeat. This has to be the salad with the most fixings that I have ever had.
A nonfat blackberry Greek yogurt, 3 slices of dark whole grains bread with healthy-style margarine & strawberry preserves and a mug of herbal tea with a teaspoon of sugar.
