Leftover smoked brisket, sliced thin and heated in BBQ sauce and water (50/50) served over toasted bun with sharp cheddar. Big side salad as well.

Asparagus fried in butter, since I'm out of olive oil and the regular oil tastes weird with it.

Something with a jar of fresh oysters. I guess I'll fry them lightly and quickly with butter until they've gone opaque, then mix in some half-and-half and herbs for a true coronary delight.

Maybe pear and mixed greens salad, though that might be overkill on the veggies since I'm doing the whole bunch of asparagus too ....... oh I know, I've got some soy sauce marinated chicken legs that urgently need cooking.

We have a Boy Scout Camporee this weekend. My son is with the group (OA for those that know) running the whole show. I've been tasked with cooking for 20 teens and adults all weekend. Tonight's dinner is easy- cheeseburgers, green beans and applesauce. Tomorrow I'm making a very, very large meatloaf in a dutch oven.

I've never made a 10b meatloaf before, let alone in a dutch oven!

Smoked mahi mahi. Of course, if I am not that hungry, I may just have the one mahi.
