I'm curious how pressure cooked dumplings will turn out
My pressure cooker is a multifunction unit, so I browned the beef with the browning function, pressure cooked the meat, let out the pressure, pressure cooked the veggies, let out the pressure, and then simmered the dumplings. It actually didn't occur to me to pressure cook the dumplings, because they have such a short cooking time anyway.
I just finished dinner with a really great huckleberry-vanilla ice cream float. Local made soda with natural syrup and extracts and fresh ice cream- man was that good!
Tonight: Mac's Grill's own New York strip steak, baked potato, wilted spinach, fresh bread, a medley of fried calamari, crawfish, and onions alongside a spicy remoulade sauce, along with iced tea.
jambalaya with shrimp and sausage and garlic toast.
