Our chickens don't have arsenic!

Organic and non organic food tastes the same, if they are the same type say both Golden Delicious Apples, and picked at the same time. Of course with the non organic apples, you don't get the taste boost of a worm or two in the apple as with Organic ones.

The big difference is, non organic apples as an example are shipped greater distances, picked at a younger state and not ripened to the same level of the Organic Apples that are usually grown locally, or stored and shipped less distance.

Taste difference, is according to when it was picked and what growth state it was in when picked.

Organic food is more local, picked at a later level of ripeness. Non Organic food is grown for wide distribution, and has to be picked at a level that will hold up the longest, and has not developed full taste on the vine.

Arsenic has been banned from animal feed for the last couple of years, so this is not a problem any longer.

Whenever I buy Florida oranges, they are so amazing. Especially Cara Cara oranges.
But is the difference "organic" versus not or is it the variety of orange? What would make an organic orange taste better - no insecticide on it?!

It's the variety and the growing conditions. I can get local strawberries at the farmer's market all year round here in California. But the strawberries in the colder months, though they are okay, are not nearly as good as the strawberries during the warm months. Local conditions from year to year will cause variation in the produce--it might be hotter than usual, or colder. I suppose Florida doesn't often have big swings in temperature, hence the consistent quality of its citrus.

Regular chickens are shot up with hormones which is why adult cystic acne is a thing in the United States and does not exist in Europe and other countries.

Man just buy local chickens from a source. I can buy a fryer for $2 from a lady down the street.

Ya just have to slaughter it, pluck it, scald it (or hit it with a propane torch) and cut it yourself. It's not organic, but it's not a frankenbird either.

I can definitely taste the difference between:

pastured chicken vs. conventional - pastured chicken tends to be smaller than conventional, because the former isn't shot up with growth hormones (the 40 day old chicken comes to mind). Pastured chicken tastes fresher

grass fed beef vs. conventional - the former definitely tastes more earthy/gamey - of course cows aren't game but it's a distinct taste. Conventional has a flat taste and has to be seasoned to death

pastured eggs vs. conventional - pastured eggs taste creamy and flavorful, conventional needs seasoning to get 'em going

organic fruits/veggies vs. conventional - the jury is out on this one for me. Conventional farmers sell right next to organic farmers here at our Farmers Market and they both taste good (maybe because the farm to table time is fast).
I can taste the difference with tomatoes and fruits in season though.

grassfed/pastured/organic is wayyy more expensive than conventional. But eating meats chock full of chemicals, toxins and disease may be cheaper now but i'll pay later. Either way i'm going to have to pay somebody (whether it be the farmer or Big Pharma)

its far more likely to be the US diet of saturated fat that triggers cystic acne!

Actually most Americans are rolling into the second or even third generation of high saturated fat consumption and God knows what that does to the fetus.

Yep. This has MUCH more to do with them being fresh than them being necessarily organic. You would find the same thing from freshly picked ripe apples growing from a tree in your own yard, whether or not you used any organic methods to cultivate and grow said apples. Locally grown by small-scale producers doesn't automatically indicate that organic farming practices were used, but locally grown produce is quite often going to be fresher and more flavorful than that which is shipped in from greater distances and has sat for x amount of time in trucks and loading docks and receiving bays.

The reason why it taste different is mainly due to the zero chemicals sprayed onto the plants.

The gallons of poison they sprayed onto these GMO crap plants is scary. All of us if we were to get our urine tested, would all test positive for pesticide contamination.
