Someone had a question he/she didn't know the answer to. Now it has been answered and the person (and perhaps others) has been educated. Nothing 'dumb' about that.

OhioGirl, I asked a sincere question, and also realizing the ridiculousness of the question, I found it funny. Because I'm 40 years old and should really have all the basic facts of life down by now, but when nutritionists specify "berries" I started to form a separate category for them in my mind.

They have different nutrition specs....but really....a fruit is a fruit. It doesn't change because an orange is high in vitiman c and a banana has lots of potassium doesn't mean they aren't still....fruit.
Figs are actually the inside-out flower of their tree. I just thought I'd throw that out there as a quirky fruit fact.
