Strange combination, but it was good.
Love me some clam chowder - especially the New England variety. Rock hard pretzels and those olives -any olives - sound good.

I had leftovers from lunch at my sister's house. Korean barbecued beef with brown rice and steamed broccoli. Iced tea to drink.

A tiny half loin pork roast with stone ground pepper off the grill, green salad, asparagus and green cabbage (SO refuses asparagus), flat bread and plum crumb cake.

Leftover stacked enchiladas with black beans and roasted veggies - squash, sweet potatoes, onions, hot red peppers. It tasted especially yummy last night. And a spinach salad.

I'm thinking leftover lasagna. I really had wanted chipped beef on toast or biscuits and gravy, but the lasagna is too good - I'll save the comfort food for tomorrow when I have the TV shows on to support it. TV is sucking tonight, so I might as well read and lasagna is easier to eat when you have a book in one hand anyway. Husband may or may not eat - he's acting strange lately with his eating habits so I'm just not sure anymore - it is becoming concerning, though.

Haven't been able to loo kat the computer screen - the light hurts my eyes. So the internet is verboton. Same with TV, reading and cooking.

DH took me out for Chinese food al fresco. Very warm here. And I enjoyed my "Home town Beverage" - a Long Island tea. DH, who was driving, had a sweet tea.

I usually try to keep him away from surgery things...but oh what the heck. After we got ice cream.
Oh you poor thing! I love the word verboten! Feel better soon! Jrsygrl

Oh no - I'm so sorry! I hope you're on the mend quickly! Eye injuries are AWFUL! Sorry I didn't see this earlier so I could send some healing thoughts - sending hugs now! And I'll read a book on tape for you too if you'd like!
