Clam Chowdah, Castelvetrano olives, and some Snyder's pretzels - the huge, rock-hard, crunchy ones.
Strange combination, but it was good.

Going to an afternoon patriotic concert at church, then to a friends home for cheese and wine. That makes it questionable to what we will have, if anything for dinner. I am thinking maybe just canned soup and grilled cheese sandwich

last night it was take-out crispy sesame chicken from the Chinese restaurant. Bookclub this afternoon, so tonight will be light. Thinking I'll make a salad of blanched broccoli, fresh tomatoes, bacon & herbs in a garlic blue cheese dressing

Call me crazy but I'll be boiling up a pot of spaghetti and making spicy meat sauce for tonight's dinner. It's summer and hot today but I'm determined! Green salad and garlic bread for sides.

A hot day/weekend and on days like this we love to eat outside on our patio. I will prepare a potato salad with eggs, capers, apples, dill pickles,Dijon mustard, black pepper and a yogurt sauce,a tomato.onion ,curly parsley salad,a red radish and onion salad and whipped sardine butter served with my home baked multigrain/spelt flour bread that has fennel, coriander and caraway seeds in it. To drink a variety of Rickard beer. To snack cashew nuts and home roasted almonds and chickpeas in black salt. I will make ice coffee just in case
