Personal favorite for me is bread, but most significant to the human race (I believe) is potato.

Pasta. I used to consume a lot of brown rice with stir fries but the last few years I've really lost any excitement for rice. I do love bread, but a plate of spaghetti or lasagna trumps even the best loaf of bread any day. I can't imagine life without pasta.

I love them all, including tortillas and naan (Indian bread). My favorite is probably Uncle Ben's coverted rice or brown rice from Costco.
