I have not found any way to change between the less normal and more settings.
Can anyone help me with this on the newer Duo80 model? Okay, never mind I found the answer you hit the Saute button repeatedly to toggle between the less, normal and more settings.
Sooner or later I will get it right. Funny because I have had a Wolfgang Puck Bistro model for many years and not had these problems. In the past week I have watched TONS of videos on all this but still messing up.

Everything we've done in our IP has come out absolutely delicious. My favorite thus far is the basmati rice. It leaves such a warm, nutty aroma that one can't help but be hungry.
I really miss the "chuffling" sound of our old stovetop pressure cooker, though. It was a neat sound.
I know! I listened to that for years. I loved using my PC, although I was never a power user. I do use the IP for more things.
Like you, I really like brown basmati cooked in the IP. The aroma is as you say.
Ive got some corned beef in my instapot now....for 1 hour
should be long enough to fall apart
My first time ever making corned beef was last St. Patrick's Day, and it was in the Instant Pot. Just got home from the store with corned beef, cabbage, potatoes and carrots to cook tomorrow.
So I just finished my corned beef and now the vegetables are in the instant pot, four minutes cook time but of course heating up and depressurizing time as well. Keeping my fingers crossed. I don't normally cook anymore because of disabilities and lack of stamina, but doing this I can do it in spurts so maybe I will be able to get back into cooking more myself and not depend on others to provide all my meals.

On my model (not sure about yours), you just press the same saute button over and over to change between different temps and I see you corrected your post. The same goes for slow, FYI.

did mine yesterday; it was good but took longer than I had expected. I did the veggies as recommended but they took longer as well. The carrots were not quite done; certainly edible but would have preferred them a little softer. For whatever reason the cabbage was stringy and really not good at all.

I don't cook cabbage in the instant pot, it always turns out yucky, slimy and overcooked, I simmer on the stove for 10 minutes while the potatoes and carrots are in the instant pot.
