For me its cheese. I never cared for the taste of cheese but in the last few years I started to eat it for convenience since it is a quick and easy thing to satisfy hunger. Now I am beginning to like the taste of cheese and when I go to the super market I look over all the different cheeses and select what looks(or sounds) good. So I acquired a taste for cheese that I never had before.
The same goes for hard liquor. Most people have to acquire a taste for it. I never did and still don't like the taste of hard liquor or beer for that matter.

Cheese is a fairly broad category.

I can't even comprehend not liking cheese, except for maybe strong cheeses like feta or bleu cheese, which I could consume large amounts of anyway.

The only thing I can think of that was really a required taste for me was scotch, and maybe beer.

Oh no, you're not supposed to eat that fish. You're just supposed to laugh at it. It's vile. *shivers*

When I was little, I hated raw tomatoes. I could taste a strong bitterness. Later, I couldn't taste it.

Does alcohol count as food? If yes, that's one taste I can never acquire in my lifetime. I dislike any alcoholic drinks, even the girly drinks that have more sugar than alcohol. I just can't stand the smell, especially hard liquor, eww!

Ironically, my favorite dessert is bread pudding with Kentucky Bourbon sauce
