Had two small dinners: one early, one later.

Ate my 2 leftover pizza slices from last night in the late afternoon. Drank Newcastle Brown Ale. A couple hours later was still a little hungry, so enjoyed some asparagus. Drank water.

Tonight baby meatballs with mushroom sauce and bread dumplings. Served with tomato salad, tomatoes from my garden. For dessert baked Macintosh apples with vanilla sauce and a cup of coffee.
Almrasuch you are always welcome at my table!

Last night's haluski. A perfect marriage of noodles, onions, cabbage and butter.

This is the sauerbraten klopse. I LOVE the sauce. That's my 13 year old treeing walker coonhound, Blitzen. He sits staring at the kitchen just in case any food falls. He is a very silly dog!

Tonight will be pork tenderloin baked with some home canned apple pie filling, leftover haluski and roasted carrots.

Ball park food. Hot dogs? Pizza? Chicken tenders? We'll decide later.

SO asked for hamburgers specifically mine! 2/3 rough ground chuck, 1/3 lean pork, sautéed onions/herbs, egg, cheese, fresh buns, big green salad, the last two tiny walnut pies.

Oh my gosh, Magic Shark! I want supper at your house tonight. Does that ever look and sound good.

Blitzen looks unusually alert for an animal at rest. Heh.

I took the tail end of the ratatouille and put it in a pie shell with some eggs, milk and cheese. So it's ratatouille quiche for supper tonight.

Edit: I have to keep going back and looking at the expression in that doggy's eyes. LOL. If it were a cartoon you could draw little dashes straight from his pupils to the top of that dish!
