To drink lassi and for dessert 1/2 a pink grapefruit.

This sounds very delicious! Did you add any vegetables to it, Alm? If so, what kind?

DH ordered chicken nachos and a couple of tacos from a local Mexican restaurant. He likes their food better than I do; I ate a bowl of Blueberry Morning cereal instead.

It's leftovers week here. Sliced turkey and braised red cabbage for me, and that clears out two more containers from the fridge.

By Saturday, I should be back to all new cooking.

thought I was through with "left overs" but I do have the turkey bones in the slow cooker right now. I am making vegetable, rice, turkey soup. After this, the rest will be frozen for some other day or to take to someone who needs a hot bowl of soup. I am not crazy over soups but spoiled brat loves them, any kind.

Right now, taco salad sounds good, but so does chili. Maybe I’ll make chili and dump some on a salad, a la Wendy’s.

Left overs, and this time I mean it!!

I was really pleased last night, I did warn DH before coming home that dinner was vegetarian (he's used to that) and 2 Indian dishes (not my forte), and he was free to forage from the leftovers.

But he loved it and there was nothing left of either dish.
