I live in an Interfaith household, so I do both . And I don't keep kosher or observe Passover restrictions on levened products, so when the holidays overlap like this year, it's not an issue.
Last night for the Passover Seder (I'm only willing to do one, LOL), we had:
Brisket (I ordered it because I've never had luck making a good brisket)
Matzo Ball soup
Potato Kugel
Green beans almandine
Everything else typically found on a seder plate (hardboiled eggs, Charoset, strong horseradish etc).
For Easter, I'm making:
Spiral sliced honey ham
Hash brown casserole
Corn on the cob
Key lime pie
My mom and dad are coming over and they like VERY traditional food. English-Irish palettes with those two. Husband who likes spicy and unusual foods must go very easy even on garlic and pepper!
So, ham, twice baked potatoes, basic salad, a veggie casserole or two, rolls, pie, ice cream. No spice! Easy on garlic! Nothing 'ethnic'! If any of above takes place, my dad's forehead will turn red and he will complain that the food has made him hot and sweaty. Mom will say it upset her stomach.
Easter at home for 2 of us this year, family is busy and we are too busy to volunteer to cook for a crowd right now.
Looked for an affordable 16-20 lb. turkey with no success, guess others got there first, so it's shrimp scampi yay!
Nothing else decided except I'll make dessert, either lemon tart or maybe something with puff pastry. It's fun not to decide until tomorrow. Lemon tart would go well with the lemon flavored scampi yummm.

Today was at BRIO Tuscan/Italian in Southlake, TX, where I sat the table with my mother. I had fried calamari with a rich marinara sauce, lasagna Bolognese, fresh buttered sourdough bread, iced tea, and red Pinot Noir.
And for dessert, chocolate lava cake with vanilla gelato.
Why, the traditional corned beef and cabbage, of course. (Long story.)
