Adore iced coffee when I can add the sweetener and milk/cream myself--don't like it pre-added the way some fast food places do it--I find it too sweet and not strong enough in the coffee component. It tastes more like a weak coffee-flavored milk shake rather than coffee. Where's the caffeine buzz?
Also, I suspect fast food iced coffee uses high fructose corn syrup--it's way too sweet for me--and some has a very high caloric count, so I prefer to sweeten myself and add or not add the milk/cream.
Love it. I drink it all summer long, not sweetened. Soy milk tastes great in iced coffee too, so it works well for me.
