Sloppy Joe’s, my Dad use to make them for lunch or dinner on the weekend and after a few bites, we knew quickly why they were called “Sloppy Joe’s!”

The old “Hot Apple Pie” from McDonald’s. The new ones are not even close, in terms of taste.
You sure liked your fast fruit pie pockets, didn't you?

Default further back in time....

There was BOSCO (thick chocolate liquid to add to milk).

Apparently it's still around, but I don't recall any mention of it at least since my teens (a long time ago!)

Liederkrantz and Limburger cheese, quiche, French onion soup, lime Jell-O salad, cheese balls covered with nuts served at holidays, and, I am probably the only one - Hagen-Daz carob ice cream.

Those Jenos pizza rolls were VILE! Bought them twice, ate one and threw the rest out both times. Root beer from A&W had sasafrole in it, now banned for being suspect (but without proof positive) of causing cancer. It doesn't taste the same these days.

Slightly off-topic - Carling Black Label beer. It was the cheapest beer around, and lord love a duck, the brewing process was wildly inconsistent. Sometimes it was barely drinkable, much of the time it was OK, but if you hit the lottery and the stars aligned it was amazingly good.

Some of the Swanson dinners were quite passable, but the cooking time was excruciatingly long when hungry. A freshly prepared simple meal was faster.

Does anyone remember chocolate Ice Cubes? At least I think that's what they were called. Square shaped pieces of creamy chocolate wrapped in a shiny gold wrapper. So delicious!

You can still get those. I had them at the cafe I ran in the 2000s. They melt very easily.

Screaming Yellow Zonkers were cool. They were discontinued in 2007. The Reggie Bar! Space Food Sticks. I had a friend who loved those.

Apparently you can still get Reggie Bars...they just have a different name. They are called "Bun Bars" and they are made by Pearson's Candy Company. The Reggie Bar is the Caramel one with the orange wrapper. See link.
