How would you rank your favorites of the national pizza chains? Please limit this to either chains across the U.S., or those in at least 15 or so states.

For me:

1) Papa John's
2) Domino's
3) Pizza Hut

I haven't had Little Caesar's in over a decade so I can't comment on their quality.

Little Ceasar's is dirt cheap, but it should be, since it tastes like dirt. I like it in a pinch, at $5 for a hot & ready deal.
Papa Murphy's, the take & bake place, has great pizza... if you're oven works ok.
Dominos is next, with Pizza Hut, and Papa John's a toss up for third. It's been a while since I had Godfather's, but I remember it being decent.
Good local pizza places are usually MUCH better than any of these.

1. Papa John's
2. Pizza Hut

I hate Domino's Pizza.

LOCAL pizza places are MUCH better. Alfano's in Oregon, Illinois is incredibly good.

Pizzeria Uno
Bertucci's
Papa John's

Does Godfather's Pizza still exist? I used to love that place.

Donato's is too salty.
Domino's is just gross. *shudder*

What about Shakey's? Are they still around? Straw Hat? Round Table? Is California Pizza Kitchen just a California chain?

I can't eat Domino's - the sauce is too bitter for my taste - just an all around grossness about it.

Pizza Hut is what I order for delivery - it's a bit greasy, but it is not an every day thing for us.

Never tried Papa John's - maybe worth a shot, who knows. Little Caesar's is still around here in SoCal, although it is possibly worse than a Geno's frozen pizza if you ask me.

Our Little Caesers was inside K-Mart, so when K-Mart went down they took Little Caesers with them.
