Took my youngest to a cute little Tea Parlor in downtown Rochester for lunch... La TEA Da Tea Room and Parlor....They have a little dressing room with costumes for the kids and they can play dress up in there for ever! She came out with the cutest hat, boa, gloves... And of course I had to have a hat and boa...as did MIL...LOL... The food was wonderful and I was jealous of my daughters children's lunch... a heart shaped PB&J sandwich, chocolate covered strawberry!!!!, CHIPS, melon/berries, and a choco chip cookie! I got a wrap made of breaded eggplant, roasted red pepper, cukes, onion, tomatoes, hummus, cheese... pasta salad... melon... it was delicious... and some Irish Breakfast tea... I highly suggest going if ever you are in "Kodak Land" and feel like sight seeing...LOL (not really a tourist destination )
skbs...that sounds wonderful. What a hoot! And a great memory for your daughter and you. I love Irish Breakfast tea. yum.
I know... I wish my battery had been charged in my camera...
Irish Breakfast Tea is my favorite! It was what I was raised on...can't stand that flavored herb stuff... I want it black and steeped for a very long time!
Today was lunch out, and a beef on weck sandwich. It's a product of the Buffalo NY area so I was surprised to see it on the menu in Renton, Washington, but the kimmelweck roll (hence "weck") was baked in house, and the slow roasted roast beef was outstanding.
