Our nation's first ice-cream parlor reportedly opened in New York City in 1776 — and about 200 years later, President Ronald Reagan officially designated the third Sunday of July National Ice Cream Day and the month of July National Ice Cream Month.

DH and I went to Maine on vacation 10 or 12 years ago and we wandered into this little ice cream parlor that makes their own. THey had lobster ice cream, but said nobody would order a cone or anything; it seemed it was mainly (no pun intended - sorry!) a come on for hte tourists who would usually try a bite. My bite is still there.
Hey! At Pint, $8.95, quart, $10.95, half-gallon, $21.90, going to run out right now and grab some!
Wouldn't you be pissed if your container just happened to have hardly any lobster and butter chunks, as sometimes you get only the odd cherry in cherry garcia?!? grrrrrrr

My lobster is meant for dunkin in melted butter....followed by peaches & cream My tummy can take it up with me later.. Just not going to offend my taste buds with lobster ice cream... I need to stay on their good side.
That really does sound like something somebody would create in order to draw stupid tourists into eating and then what do you bet they laugh their tails off watching them devour the nasty mess knowing they darn well wouldn't ever put it to their own lips...
Wow, buckhead, those flavors were so discusting! Great link! I think I'll stick to chocolate, thank you very much!
