I think I have every single gadget out there (my husband will swear by this). Do I use everything, No, but it's nice to know you have it if you need it.
My favorite thing that I got last year that replaced my George Forman is the Cusinart grill. It's a grill, panini press, open grill or griddle. I use it at least 4x a week and it's soooo easy to clean. I just love it

OMG I actually just bought cream of tartar for the first time in 40 years of housekeeping. Before that was a Tassimo coffeemaker....makes individual cups of coffee, tea, cocoa, latte, cappuccino, etc.

jaxson, my poor children had to get their snickerdoodles off the streets.
I finally made them...that's why I needed the cream of tartar.

Your poor, poor children. Those are staples around our house in the winter time.

OK I'll bite. What is a snickerdoodle? Just remember I'm a product of the south.

From wikipedia by way of refdesk dot com:
A snickerdoodle is a soft sugar cookie rolled in cinnamon sugar. It has a characteristically crackly surface, and can be crisp or soft, depending on preference. Some variants include nutmeg, raisins, chocolate chips, or nuts. In modern recipes, the leavening agent is usually cream of tartar which, in baking, is most commonly used in cakes but not often in cookies.

Snickerdoodle is a sugar cookie coated in sugar and cinnamon. I haven't made them in a long time. Could go for some of those too.
I think I'm staying off this food board for a while.........I just had dinner and now I'm hungry again

Also for the cream of tartar if I don't have any I will substitute lemon or vinegar (3x). It's worked for me when I didn't read the recipe until I was ready to bake and had none
