Nope, I just wear old ratty clothes when I am cooking all day.

I very seldom ever wear an apron. The exceptions are when I'm cooking for a holiday or nice party, and I'm dressed better than normal. I agree with the tie-at-the-waist aprons. They just don't make much sense to me, so I use a bib style.

I actually have some really nice aprons and wear them when making gravy or anything greasy that will pop. Mine are bib style.

I don't use an apron. I bought myself one and my husband gave me one as a gift once for Christmas. I got rid of both though, lol.

I do replace shirts a lot. I know an apron would be cheaper but it feels so uncomfortable and bulky.

I always wear an apron when baking, because I... ummm... sort of "Dunlop" the counter when I'm kneading bread or rolling out a pie dough.

Other times when I'm dealing with something messy, or cooking a lot, like a T-Day marathon, I'll usually throw on an apron. It's nice to be able to take it off when I want to take a break, maybe mingle with the guests, without worrying about getting stuff on stuff.

I find aprons handy for several reasons, not just to keep my clothes clean... I wear aprons with big pockets, that are handy for keeping odds and ends handy as I move around, and most also have a breast pocket holder for an InstaRead thermometer, which I consult frequently while cooking. I like them better than a chef's coat, because long sleeves get in my way when I'm cooking.

I insist on sturdy, practical aprons, with an adjustable neckstrap and long enough waist-ties to wrap completely around and tie in front, otherwise I can't get them tight enough not to flop around. With my "mature" figure that means I pretty much need XXXL ties, but I just say "no" until I find them.

And when I go visiting, I throw a clean apron into the suitcase along with a basic knife roll of well sharpened knives, because I pretty much know they won't have either at the other end of the line when I'm asked to cook something.

Ditto!

The only time I'll wear a apron is when doing last minute cooking awaiting guests when I'm already dressed in my nice threads...

But I do miss June Cleaver!

I need to wash my apron. I've missed it! Yes, I like to always wear an apron, especially when I am baking. Flour seems to find itself all over me.

I normally put a new dish towel hanging out of the pocket every time I use it. My bf had me to set up an Amazon wish list and I currently have several aprons on there.... =)

I've never even thought of it... nor do I have one.
