The first meal of the day really is the most important - so make it healthy, and make it at home.
So, how is yours? Do you make it at home or rush to a convenience store or fast food drive-through?

Lately, I've just been baking an egg white, broccoli and cheese casserole towards the beginning of the week. In the morning, I cut myself a square of it, microwave it for about a minute and it's ready. Usually I'll have some berries (this week it's strawberries) to go along with it. Oh, and coffee.

I use a medium/smallish sized square dish so the casserole is usually gone by Thurs or Fri. I'll either bake another one (takes 30 minutes) or I'll have something else entirely.

Never: Smack:

I 'm beginning by a tea or chocolate milk with a chocolate -filled ( that will be better to eat a fruit.. )
Second meal : a sandwich or salad because i don't have time
Dinner: before i eated more ( meat .. ) but it is not good to eat so much before to sleep .Now i eat moderately ( egg+ petit pois and banana for example)

I make a big batch of something, like bean salad, that travels well and has some protein, and take it on the road if I have to, bolt it down standing over the kitchen sink if I have time. Another good breakfast food is a bean burrito or baked parsnip delites.

I'll eat some quasi-healthy cereal and milk because it's quick and satisfying. I also like to scramble and egg or two and sandwich them in whole-wheat toast.

I usually make a packet of oatmeal. I just picked up Quick Oats, and want to try them.
Just last week I learned to make scrambled eggs in the microwave -- made a yummy breakfast sandwich!

If I have to eat in the car, I'll grab a Fiber Plus bar (choc & PB) -- Walmart has really good prices on these.

A rare treat on the weekend would be an Egg McMuffin, or a breakfast hoagie from Wawa, but you have to get them by 11, and I'm usually not out and about then.

I love cottage cheese with a little bit of sugar free jello stirred in it.

Really on-the-go: a banana. And I don't care much for bananas but they're filling, they're portable, and they're fuss free.

On-the-go: an avocado with cottage cheese.

3-minute hot breakfast: Microwave a whisked egg in a small bowl for 60 seconds. Meanwhile toast a bagel, then top a slice of ham with cheese on a small plate. When the bagel's toasted, spread with mayo and mustard. Spoon the finished egg onto the bagel, then zap the ham/cheese for 30 seconds. Meanwhile slice a tomato and tear some lettuce. Lay the ham and melted cheese, tomato and lettuce on the bagel and sandwich it. Wrap it up and off I go.

I do something similar with a flour tortilla too.
