I definately noticed. Everything. Bottles are skinnier, or have that hourglass shape, taking away the ability to fill the full 16 oz like before. Its disgusting how much smaller things are getting, and yet costing as much as, or more, for less. Its bad enough now that everything is coming in plastic, but combined with getting less product, really tweaks me.

Speaking of McDonalds....
Dont be fooled by their burgers either. I used to work there many years ago and even then, it was all hype. They categorize their patties as '10-to-1's' or '4-to-1's'. They use the '10-to-1's for their kids meals and Big Macs, which basically is a 1/10th lb of meat. The quarter pounders use the '4-to-1' patties, which is 1/4 lb of meat. Those big macs basically consist of 3 layers of bread, to make them more filling. And the public loves it, but they dont realize theyre still getting less meat than they could be getting in the quarter pounder. Even the fish sandwiches, heck those tiny patties and a half slice of cheese, the only one who wins there is the register, not the consumer. Thats one reason that I hate fast foods places, you dont get what you pay for. Bread is the key filler.
Try asking them to make you a big mac using the quarter pound patties and see what they say, lol, theyll probably charge you an extra 2 bucks for that extra bite of meat!

EVERYTHING! I always shop for the value per measurable unit to the penny rather than package to the dollar.

I am not complaining about the new small tide bottles though. I always thought it was stupid they didn't downsize the water thing on that. Now they probably did it to hide the grand transition of product shrinkage as a marketing scheme of ease of use.

I like that single yogurts etc are smaller. The pkts before sets everyone up for overeating at meals.

Hershey bars have been shrinking/cocoa reducing since they were born!

YES! I was going to say that. Every year it seems like you get fewer and fewer of them.

You should express your dissatisfaction to them. Tell them that their product(Scott?) is really going down the crapper.

I hate that a gallon of gasoline is getting "smaller". It's still a gallon, but it's being blended with 10% ethanol, and the use of ethanol decreases gas mileage. I don't want 9/10 of a gallon of gas, i want a full gallon!

On the upside, we don't eat or drink toilet paper or gasoline/ethanol.

Sugar is now a 4lb bag instead of 5lbs. Bags of chips are noticeably smaller. Lunchmeat is in smaller amounts too. Just about everything.

Went to sam's yesterday to stock up and we always buy our canned goods in bulk. Used to be 12 cans or so in a box now it is only eight. Bummer.
