Check your local McDonald's

From March 6th to April 24th, McDonald's is having a great burger deal. Get a Hamburger for $.49 and a Cheeseburger for $.59. There is no limit on this FRIDAY ONLY deal. Enjoy!

Sorry, my title was wrong. Cheeseburgers are supposed to be .59.

I am a hamburger fan, though. I just recently starting buying soy burgers and I'm surprised at how good they are. They only have about 70 calories and have less than 1 gram of fat. A normal plain hamburger (or a regular 59-cent McDonald's hamburger) has between 13 and 20 grams of fat. Also, you can use whole wheat buns...Sunbeam has some good whole wheat buns that only have 70 calories. And you can add some nonfat cheese, which has about 60 calories. That's enough to fill me up and it's only 300 calories and less than 1 gram of fat.

When I was in college they were 29 cents and 39 cents for a while. Maybe that was just on Fridays too.

Those little guys bring back memories, I'll have to go get a couple. Thanks Lisa!

What kind of soy burger? I bought the Boca burgers and they are 120 calories. I might as well have the real thing and buy the lean meat.
