I have made them from scratch - however mine can be hit and miss! Either really wonderful, or kill the cat! lol! Now, my grandmother made the best biscuits I have ever eaten - OMG - heaven! She made them with most every meal. Mama can make them just about as good - however doesn't like to ! Honestly? I prefer the frozen dough type ones in the freezer section rather than the canned type. These are closer to homemade. I still prefer homemade dumplings for chicken and dumplings from scratch as I haven't found a good frozen dumpling yet. I like the thick ones instead of the thin noodle type ones for that. I just hate having to roll em out and all!

LOL!!!

It looks so messy...but good

The funny thing is I like to make bread. But all the work is done in my stand mixer.

I might have to try the frozen ones versus the can ones. Just what I need, more things in my freezer

George - Let me tell ya, there is nooooo comparison! The frozen ones are by far better! They remind me of Hardee's biscuits kind of? I prefer the thinner ones versus the "cat-head" type, but they are all good!

Hola Ladies and Gentlemen
Just popping for a moment, my son and his bandmates are here in town playing and will be staying with us for 2-days "Yeah!" They have been on their US Tour and headed back to California. Poor boys look so skinny. Mama's gonna fatten them up, so I made them a huge heavy Meatloaf with Mash Taters and Green beans with Sweet Rolls and my daughter made them Brownies.
