CARLISLE, England, Feb. 2 (UPI) -- A British woman said all six eggs in a package she bought from a supermarket had double yolks -- besting odds experts put at one in more than 1 trillion.

Fiona Exon of Cumbria County said she bought the half-dozen eggs from a Morrisons supermarket on a recent Sunday and discovered while preparing the eggs for a meal that every one of them contained two yolks, The Daily Telegraph reported Tuesday.

Bet they were either extra large or jumbos. Probably the latter. That increases your chances of a double yolk egg.

I've had a dozen jumbos of which 11 were double yolks, so it's no big deal, really....although I thought it was very cool

I buy flats of 20 eggs at the ranch store - I just ask for the eggs from the very young or the very old chickens. All 20 have double yolks ... every time.
