Anybody have Ford OEM Splash Guards on their 2008/2012 Ford Escape ???

I have been trying to see them installed on the vehicle but after watching a couple huindred go by I haven't seen one yet.

They make the parts available but does anybody buy and install them.

The vehicle sits high so I would think they would be needed for rocks if nothing else.

I just bought a new 2012 and would like to see and find out before having them installed.

Help Please !!!

We have a '08 Escape, we live in a rough couty and drive gravel roads everyday and we have no issues without the guards.

Here is a few images I found.
