Until you have a signed acceptance you are in limbo! The scary part is that if it takes too long, they could very well order a new BPO if the market is going up in your area.

Definately feels like that!! We were told by the sellers attorney that they had the file escalated, and that we should have an answer as of this past Monday. Yesterday, she sent this email to my attorney: I received a call from our new contact at Bank of America. The file is in underwriting review at BofA and is expected to be submitted to the investor (Freddie Mac) by Friday at the latest. The investor has a 24 hour turnaround so she expects a have an answer by Monday, May 20th.

So, I guess we wait. What's another week at this point! I'm just trying to concentrate on planning our small wedding September now, to take my mind off the house

Cant bold...but in regards to your last sentence that is all you can do. It is hard but if the house is worth it hang in there. Dealing with banks suck and you would think we were living in the dark ages with how long it takes them to get things done.
