My boyfriend and I are picking up and moving from Albany, New York to Fort Collins, Colorado this year. We are just waiting until he is finished with his internship to move. Here is what we are looking for, any information/help would be so greatly appreciated.

We want somewhere relatively safe, which I have heard is not a big problem in Fort Collins. We want to be in an area where 420-friendly-college-students reside. Our apartment costs before utilities we hopefully want to be around the 600 mark, for a one bed/one bath. If possible we want mountain views from the apartment and a place to be able to get active, hiking, walking etc.. We aren't really party-goers but we like to have fun so somewhere with small bars or something close would be cool. Also, somewhere that we don't need to bring our P.O.S car! If we could walk from place-to-place that would be PERFECT! Is there any specific place that comes to mind?

Another question, Is there any type of demand for Early Childhood Educators or Teacher's Aids out there? If so, what is the average pay rate? Thank you so much!

I really appreciate all of your help, thanks so much.

Anywhere within walking distance to CSU campus would probably fit your criteria. Fort Collins is pretty walkable if you want it to be. The Old Town and Campus areas very much so; the south part of town is more big-box stores and newer housing, but there's really no reason to ever go down that way if you don't want to.

NOTE: Software bots for the DEA scan websites like this every night looking for keywords of the drug trade.

Yeah, and Mike? LOL, I'm sure the DEA has city-data pretty low on it's list of websites to monitor. Thanks though, i didn't really know that.
