Any info. would be appreciated and thank you all for replying to my initial post!
Boater4life, that property is at the end of the canal on a finger isle and ocean acces with 5 FIXED BRIDGES. As you has a sail boat I do not recommend that address.

Look into South Pompano area (Garden there tons of waterfront ocean access homes.....I think theres around 30 miles of canals......depending on the street some have only on fixed bridge at Federal Highway which is pretty high.......at the most you have two fixed bridges. Plantation and most areas west of Federal along new river take forever to get to the ocean. From my house which is about a mile and half inland it takes about 30 minutes to get to Hillsboro Inlet.

You are more than welcome ! Purchasing a residential property is almost traumatic drama, much more when you have a boat and you need an ocean acces waterfront property. I know pretty much the area. Maybe that agent was confused with subdivision name "Davis" that is commonly found around that area. Do not blame him/her at all, please.

Boater4life, if you search in Pompano Beach, there is a subdivision named "Pompano Isles" with waterfronf properties on deep canals and wider than the canals in Lauderdale Isles and Davis Isles, and no fixed bridges ocean acces. Prices are not as high as the ones for example in Citrus Isles , Tarpon River and Saiboat Bend in Fort Lauderdale. As you asured before that you have a sailboat not larger than 42 feet , you need definetely a no fixed bridge ocean acces waterfront property. Check on Pompano Isles. Good luck

I just noticed this. Actually, the Flamingo Park homes tend to be consistently 3/2 with one-car garages or carports, while Lauderdale Isles has a mix of large 3/2 tri-level homes and small 2/2 homes that were specifically intended for retiree residences.

Both neighborhoods also feature some homes that were newly built on the lots after demo of the original home, as well as some homes that have additions.
