I hear from various people (second hand info mostly) how boring the Treasure Coast and Pt. St. Lucie in particular are. When I try to pin them down on why I don't get that much information. I realize there are a lot less clubs or show than closer to the Palm Beaches but since i don't go to either, i don't care.

It seems the beaching & river access are as good if not better than most places. Enough shopping; I'm a guy what do I need morw than Home Deport, Publix, and a (soon) Bass Pro Shop?

Oh, I'm a single male who is looking to retire there.

It seems to me that Stuart & Ft Pierce have small "downtowns" to have things happening on weekends. Things like arts & crafts, food fairs, etc.

Are there enough mid priced resturants; Italian, Seafood?

My move WILL happen this year.

What am I missing?
