After debating for over a year about moving from Brickell to weston, we finally made the jump.

Probably the best decision we've made for our family. What an absolutely amazing town.

I never could imagine myself living in the suburbs, being a native new yorker and then brickellite. But the combination of the diverse demographic, focus on kids and family oriented activities, 5 star parks, youth sports, A-rated schools, beautiful landscaping and pedestrian/biker friendly layout across entire city, and proximity to major highways for commuting to from miami/downtown fort lauderdale, I honestly could not have chosen a better place.

Thank you to those who helped my family and I make this important decision. We look forward to our kids growing up in such a wonderful environment!

Yup. It sure is the place to be. Glad it worked out for you. Wait until you get out and explore even more. Go walk/ride the levy greenway. Get an annual pass to Flamingo Gardens. Frisbee golf and mountain biking at Markham, plus their great dog park, etc. Even the farms like Flamingo Nursery and Family Farms always have things going on.

Great to hear pk. Weston is such a solid choice for families depending on job location and budget, of course. One of the few cities in SFLA where you can close your eyes and just pick a neighborhood.

Here’s wishing you and your family many more happy times in Weston.

Thanks BNBR! Will absolutely grab an annual pass. Also didn't know about frisbee golf at Markham, great recommendation will check out.

If you drive towards the back of the park on the right side, heading towards the gun range. You can't miss the frisbee golf. It's a well maintained course and a ton of fun. It's just past the mountain biking area (which is the best mountain biking in the State). You may also enjoy walking the levy or riding your bike on it. To do that, you either ride your bike to Markham and just before the entrance to the park, across the bridge, hang a left down the path along the canal, it'll take you right up on the levy. Which goes for miles and miles. I've ridden the whole loop plenty of times which is roughly 27 miles. You can also get to the path parking across from the dog park at Markham.

Have fun!
