Best:

-Being able to go to the beach & have mojitos/daquaris in January
-The Caribbean & Latin american food (especially cuban & jamaican)
-The Florida discounts (Disney, Seaworld, ect)
-Proximity to the islands
-Very clean

Worst:

-Hurricanes & Rainy season
-Cost of Living/Quality of life for the real middle class residents
-High crime in comparison to the population
-Unfriendly people (mostly seen in customer service and red light runner type driving)

Sorry, I cheated and did more than 3 of each...

The Relocation Guide

Ladies and Gentleman, prepare yourself for a culture shock. Moving to Dade County is not like moving to any other place in the U.S.:

Part 1
Miami, FL: Where to Move and How to Find a Place
Now, I am not going to make it sound like this is an awful place to live, but you have to have the right mindset in order to survive in this city.
Part 2
Miami Living is Best For the Young and Single
If you are young and single, there is no greater city to live. People in your demographic are really the only sane people who should ever consider moving here.
Part 3
Home Hunting Advice for Families Relocating to Miami
Not to say Miami, Florida is not a beautiful city with culture and excitement and world-class recreational opportunities, but...
Part 4
Finding the Best Miami Realtor for You
Fun as it is cruising the streets looking for “For Rent” signs and calling numbers that rarely answer in a language you speak, there are easier ways to obtain a place to live in Miami.
Part 5
Searching For Jobs in Miami-Dade FL
As I said before, when you first move here to South Florida you should find some sort of employment as soon as possible.
Part 6
How to Survive in the Spanish Workplace
When interviewing for a job, it is crucial that you are aware of your surroundings. And your surroundings, for the most part, will be speaking Spanish.
Part 7
Driving in Miami: The Rules Are Different Down Here
While every city loves to brag about their insane traffic and bad drivers, no city has quite the unique combination of residents that we do here
Part 8
Avoiding Miami Traffic (Maps)
There are distinct routes and traffic patterns to avoid at certain times, and if you can do that you should be okay.
Part 9
Making Friends in Miami
Meeting people is difficult no matter where you live. And while Miami presents its own special set of social challenges, there's also some unique opportunities.
Part 10
The City of Miami, FL Compared to Other Cities in the U.S.

I definitley forgot about the bugs. Yeah, if you recoil in terror at the sight of flying one inch cockroaches in your kitchen, then you do not want to move here. It's almost been a deal breaker for my wife - she can put with most negatives, but she cannot stand the bugs!

That entire post is irrelevant to Broward County which is what this subforum is dedicated to, but VERY accurate about Dade nonetheless.
