Yes. There is a big difference between Venice and Fort Myers. Make sure you visit everywhere.

Thank you for offering a suggestion on a mechanic. I just had it repaired for my big trip down. It is only working marginally but enough for me. My car is a 1996 but I love it. I hope to get a couple of more years out of it.

I hope I can find a good & honest mechanic in Fort Myers area.

Default We too will be moving to the area in November

Pinda- how are you doing the dual living arrangements? My husbands job starts next week, but our house hasn't sold yet up here(NJ) and so the boys and I will be here until it sells, or we may just winterize our house and move down w/ him for the winter. I hate the cold too- I wonder if it is because of the low blood pressure? never thought of it before-but I can't take the cold or air conditioning- never use it- I just freeze to death.

Where is your husband renting? does he like it? We will have to do that too- and I don't know where to put him. All the detail stuff is my job

I started calling around for auto ins and wow- it's the same as up here and I thought NJ was bad! I asked about some homes we were looking at and it's a huge difference as far as coverages go- big learning curve.

I was thinking if we move w/ him we'd get a 3 bedroom apt or a home. We need a place that will take german shepherds and that could be a problem too.

I am so excited to move-but the details and paperwork( car registration, drivers lic, moving) is making me crazy.
