Has anyone noticed the big drop in humidity and the pleasant evenings? This is unusual for September and I'm loving it! Yes, it's 90 outside now and sunny, but the evening temps have been dropping to the mid 70s and last night the humidity was only about 55%. It's certainly not cool and I still had to run the A/C to get to sleep, but it's a big relief from those 85 degree, 100% humidity nights.

I'm only about 50 miles from you, Chris! But maybe I posted too soon. Last night it was windy, and I also checked the temperature online. It was "only" 74 and the humidity was 55. I then checked the 10 day forecast for Port Charlotte and Fort Myers. Currently it shows the humidity as 50% and the evening lows averaging 72. Usually Sept & Oct are very humid, although I have to say that a 10 day forecast with daytime temps in the lower 90s isn't really cool. It was just so nice to walk outside at midnight and feel the cool breeze on my face.

I was in orlando the last 3 days and what a difference in temperatures... I walked around Universal for 2 days, and the humidity was about non existent. I was pretty comfortable, even during the heat of the day. I came back down here, and right away I noticed an immediate difference. WAY more humid. Although I can feel a slight drop in the humidity/dew point. It is the beginning of the transition from summer to spring...
