Sunday, July 10 about 2:30am, a jet propelled helicopter buzzed the Burnt Store area back and forth 5-6 times. Then Monday, July 11, at about 12:30 AM, same type of helicopter buzzes by low two times over the Burnt Store Marina/Lakes area. Anybody have any insights as to why and how often this happens?

Thanks

Mosquito spraying would be my first guess also. But are those helicopters jet propelled? I really dont know, never paid that much attention to it. Also never saw them spray in the middle of the night either. The big aircraft I usually see in the early mornings, the helicopters typically any time of day, but never saw them flying at night.

I suspect something far more nefarious.......

Of course you do. But you also think that the Denver Airport is influenced by Nazis, "they" were bringing in truckloads of body bags to the panhandle during the oil spill and some stone carvings in Georgia herald a new world order.

The insect spray may make it look like the helicopters are jet propelled. Just guessing.

We've been hearing the same noise in Port Charlotte. It's mosquito control. I wish they'd tell the mosquitoes, however, since they're out of control this year!

You can look on the Charlotte County Government's web site and click on "spraying schedule." You might also be hearing a truck driving around at night which is ground control spraying.

I think Burnt Store Marina is in Lee County. I know Burnt Store Lakes is in Charlotte County, however.

I hardly had any mosquito bites this year in Cape Coral. Tuesday I went to a tree farm on Pine Island and another one in Bayshore searching for Christmas Palms. Like an idiot New Yorker, I wore shorts and used no spray. Now it looks like I have the measles on my legs.

Someone has to keep an eye on "them" you know........

Burnt Store marina is on the border line of Charlotte and Lee, with most of it actually situated over the line into Charlotte. But I do recall seeing a Lee county fire boat moored in the marina. So I'm assuming there is some form of co-operative agreement between the counties where that particular development is concerned?

I'm sure the helicopters are spraying for bugs. The black helicopters that the new world order uses are silent when they pass overhead.
