Almost forgot about the oysters.... mmm Been awhile since I ordered one. Last time down the kids dined on Cheeseburgers from Mucky, but me and the hubby went up the street to Keylime Bistro to listen to the MOST amazing flutist we ever heard. Anyone ever heard that guy? He plays and sings while twirling and throwing his flute in the air.

Another vote for "Reds. Looks like they are opening one in Cape Coral next month. Just in time for our stay. We love their extensive menu.

Smoke N' Pit used to be my favorite. Always got the family feast for 4 to go. The last couple of times we've ordered out it hasn't been so good. The ribs were really dry. The baked potatoes had a "chemical taste".

I still love their shaved turkey that comes in the feast though and the garlic bread!!!.

We went to University Grill yesterday in Ft Myers.....both had the prime rib and it was cooked to perfection. A beautiful cut of prime and wonderful cup of crab bisque and nice fresh baked potato. The server was attentive and helpful.

Elston,
Any recommendations for a place that has a good size piece of prime rib, I mean at least 24+oz? Anything less is just a tease for me. Haven't found it yet. Thanks

My daughter and I will be staying at FMB. We will not be renting a car. What are the best restaurants we can walk to? We will be just a few minutes from the square. Thanks for any suggestions.

at the University grill they will cut you what ever size you want....at (I think) $2 per ounce for any thing over their standard cut of...? I can tell you they know what a medium rare should be. Delicious.
