I live in SE Cape Coral on a canal with river access. We will be trailering our 21' sport boat down from northern VA next spring, and I'd like to find a Marina in the CC / Ft Myers area that offers good service and has reliable, trustworthy boat mechanics. I know a lot of folks on this forum are boaters in this area - any recommendations?

I use a mobile guy that comes to my house, he's a little on the expensive side but always shows up when he's suppose to and does good work. his name is Frank from platinum mobile marine 239-878-0595

I have a friend who had his boat up at pineland marina and he was going to have some work done and they were going to charge him like $3000 he brought it to A1 marine on SW pine island road in matlacha and he said it was about $500 and he will use no one else but them now.

I,also, prefer mobile marine service instead of a marina where they have to cover all of their overhead, payroll and floor plan for new boats. Also,in many cases, they have some 17 year old kid working on your boat.....you never know.
I use Brad's Mobile Marine and my boat stays in perfect shape.......I'm in SE also.
One other thing.......at the marina, you drop your boat off and wait for a call. The Mobil Marine guy will let you hang out, watch him and ask questions.Much better in my opinion.

Hemidancer, what kind of Sport Boat do you have? Did you boat on the Potomac River? I spent a lot of time boating on the Potomac between Belmont Bay and the 301 Bridge. Now boat here in the Cape, but haven't needed to have anything serviced yet, so cant give you a recommendation. Good luck.
