I will be visiting in a couple of weeks to look at condos, as I understand there are some good prices. Can anyone tell me, however, what the property taxes are like? I'm seeing condos for $40,000, but with an annual tax of $3600! Can this be right?

Not sure, Our condo in 2005 125,000 about 4200 in taxes IIRC. Go to Lee County Taxes they have a tax rate schedule. I have a friend in RE, you can always email, tell em LuLu sent ya. I know he'd be glad to answer any questions. PM me if you like for his email.
