that is supposedly a joke--
because that would be an urban section of the Trinity and not really where you would want to fish

check out Lake Grapevine--not in FTW but close--public boat ramps and think lots of fishing and very good public camp ground
same with Lake Granbury which is south of FTW
I don't know that Lake Arlington which is closest is actually that good for fishing

Possum Kingdom to west of town is having huge grass fires and areas around the lake are just destroyed

and I think you could probably find better site for info about fishing here on another forum devoted to fishing

There are a lot of city lakes. If you go to Texas Parks and Wildlife there you can see what is close to you. As far as catfish, Eagle Mountain Lake is the best. There is a creek that comes out of the lake and the fishing is good. Right now crappie is biting. Take Boat Club Road to The Resort and about one city block past you will see the people fishing on the bank of the river to your right. In the city Greenbrair Park is on Hemphill Street right off of I-20. The Texas Parks and Wildlife will start stocking catfish beginning the first week in May and continue every two weeks until November. They will post the day on their website and where they are stocking. We always go. Most of the catfish are about pound to two pounds. Some are smaller just watch for the right length. Hope this helps. My husband and I love to fish!
