Honest, I never even heard of them. They're probably a local builder. Often, the site supervisor has more impact than the company name of the builder.

I haven't heard of them either. If they are a custom builder and only build a certain amount of homes, I would get references an talk to their previous customers. I know my particular builder only does about 20 homes, but they have had models and we have talked to their previous customers.

The first builder that we were going to work with had done more homes, but we drove through the neighborhood and while their houses were pretty and built pretty well, they had warned us about the quirks of working with this particular builder. It turned out that he wasn't as custom as we wanted him to be (moving around rooms etc.) which isn't a bad thing, just not what we were particularly looking for in a custom builder.

Our new builder we just have a huge level in confidence with him in how he has worked with us to get us as far as we are - he is building our house, not just a different color of paint on his house.
