All,

My wife and I are interested in a home that's located in the Ridgmar neighborhood. It's north of I-30 and east of Ridgmar mall. However, the crime statistics from FWPD for that area are high. The homes seem really nice, but the crime stats includes the mall and some apartments. I'm wondering if they are the reason for the spike in crime? Any input on that neighborhood and on Phillips elementary would be appreciated.

Josh

Ridgmar is a nice neighborhood.
I really don't have an answer as to why crime rates would be high for that area, it seems to be very safe to me.

Best of Luck!

There are some nice neighborhoods over in that area, but they're near some maybe-not-so-nice neighborhoods and apartment complexes. Such is the case with much of Fort Worth.
