1 Killed, 3 Injured When in Argyle High School Construction Collapse: Officials | NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth

The cause of the collapse is still under investigation, but one worker was killed and three others were injured when an indoor practice facility under construction tumbled at Argyle High School.

My condolences are with the family of the killed worker.

But I have a question - have I just been living in a small town for too long but when did we start giving money to build indoor practice facilities for high school athletics?

I also send prayers for the family and soul of the departed.

OP, in TX these things are usually passed in Bond Packages, voted on by the citizens.

Thoughts and prayers to those affected, but an IPF is no surprise when you consider Allen voters approved a frivolous $60 million stadium.

That the school only played a season in before they deemed it unsafe. Un-frickin-believable.
