Dear Oakhurst Residents 10/29/14

I’m writing for the new owner of 2505 Lotus. We are trying to figure out if we should add a master bathroom as we update the house. Do you feel that feature would be a big selling point to individuals?
We’d be interested in your opinion as we realize this is a Historic District and we really want to be true to the historical nature of Oakhurst.
Thank you, Ann

I'm no expert---just sharing my humble $0.02...I can't see how adding an en suite would be a bad idea. Character homes are so lovely, and are so against the grain of cookie-cutter and I LOVE that, but when buying a home, I have to say if I don't see a master suite bathroom I'm rather put off. Some others may disagree and know that back when that house was originally built, that just wasn't a mainstream feature...but being in today's era, I'd love the historical aspect BUT still would want that master bath...was that clear as mud

Sorry if this comes across goofy...best wishes with whatever route you choose!
