Hi everyone,

I have not visited the forum in a long time, but it is nice to be back. : )

I wanted to ask where can I find honest, reliable, quality auto repair in Fort Worth, preferably around either the Ridgmar Mall area or Hulen Mall area as I live in Arlington Heights. I realise I have been way over paying at the shop I have given my business to these last few years (I now know for sure). It is time to find another auto repair shop that does good work for a reasonable fee instead of inflating bills as high as they think they can get away with.

Much appreciated.

You need to go to G&M Tire near TCU. Without a doubt the most reliable, honest and affordable mechanic I've ever used in this or any city. Only mechanic I've know to fix things that are very minor for free (knowing of course that you'll always come back for the not so minor things).

I've been happy with City Garage on North Beach Street near Basswood. I know it's not very close to you, but I think they have other locations. The prices are reasonable.

The first time I went in, they determined my problem was under recall, so they sent me to the dealer, which didn't charge me anything. The third time I went in, they admitted my issue needed to resolved by the dealer, so I went there. Both times, they could've "worked" on my car and charged me and not resolve anything. Instead, they were honest with me. How refreshing.

I can also vouch for Craig's Auto Electric & AC in Arlington and Callaway's in North Richland Hills.
