This is disturbing..I have always wondered why Radio Shack wouldn't expand its product line to be more in line with Best Buy. Maybe selling ALL wanted electronics would have increased business for them...Too Bad so Sad.

I believe RadioShack deliberately pursued a policy to go international as a franchisee and allowed it's US businesses to atrophy and die a slow death. Essentially, they are another big corporation that decided to offshore jobs and business to Asia and Mexico where the most growth is. They tried the same thing in Europe and Canada, but it didn't pan out.
