What's unique except cheap flights when you want them?

Many people travel often for their jobs.... Same issues.

You could probably save time and make more money by being a waitress at a local family restaurant than being a flying waitress that doesn't even get the benefit of tips.

Do you have anything to back this up? I don't think waitstaff fall into this range and we aren't even discussing benefits

I would like to know what those 'unique' things are as well. My mother was a flight attendant and a frugal life could slide in quite easily. Perhaps it depends on who one works for but my mother got all her uniforms, cleaning of uniforms, hotel stays, meals, and transportation all paid. That saves a lot of money for those daily needs.
How she was frugal, she knits, when flying to France, she took a fold up bag that she could stuff angora yarn into as the cost was much cheaper. When flying to the east coast, she took the lobster box and came home with jet fresh Maine Lobster. She did all sorts of things like this.

The crashpads deploy after the emergency landing.

Salary.com Salary Wizard- Do you know what you're worth?

Salary: Flight Attendant | Glassdoor
Your links may represent a flight attendant with many years of service and seniority most FAs put up with a lot of hardship before reaching top dollar or even having a choice of when and where they travel.
My daughter was really into becoming a Flight attendant, she applied for several companies but for some reason never made it past the 3 day interview process. we both did a lot of research on the job,her for the enthusiasm of a career of being a flight attendant ,me as a concerned parent
We discovered todays flight attendants dont have the glamorous job that was once defined as stewardess thus the designation flying waitress which is what todays flight attendants have become..
