What is the best way to water my vegetable garden....
The problem is that there is no ONE best way.
Different plant types at different stages of growth and at different times of the season have very different watering needs.

Yes all these may be appropriate and probably some drip heads too.

Most watering needs to be done in summer ...
So my swamp cooler has a bypass and the water that comes form there is used on my raised bed veggie plots via a drip system.
I do have a *roof* over the top of the beds (similar to screen door material).
It keeps the plants form *frying* in the hot sun.
Just happens that I live in hot dry climate and swamp cooler is mode of whole house cooling !

That is great. I have a lot of passive watering around my house, but this garden is not near a building. I think I will just have raised sprinklers since I like the sound it makes and its more like rain.
Interesting, but is the bed useable while you are waiting for the wood to rot?
